So what is the secret to the GSP Workout?! I don’t know if you would call it a secret, but the main focus is knowledge. As you will see in this video, GSP draws his training influences from all over the world. He does not limit his training to only one style.
Watching this video reminds me of all the things I like about GSP. He is a very cerebral fighter. He is very singular in purpose, and he remains focused and humbled even though he is at the top of his chosen sport. This is reflected in the GSP Workout. He strives for efficiency. His goal is to be the most efficient fighter out there. In Men’s Health he was quoted as saying that,“In fighting, in evolution, in life, efficiency is the key,” says St-Pierre, who hopes to one day return to school to study paleontology. “It’s not the most powerful animal that survives. It’s the most efficient.”

What can we learn from the GSP Workout? Don’t close your mind off, and think there is only one way. You have to be willing to draw your knowledge from many different sources. You should strive to constantly evolve, not just in training but in life itself.
